Couts Heating & Cooling, Inc. has a group of skilled Detailers with years of field experience and technical skills to excel in Building Information Modeling (BIM) allowing design and construction teams to work efficiently. Our Detailers have performed BIM Lead operations on several projects helping bring coordination of all major trades into one buildable 3D Model. With completion dates being critical to Client operations, our Detailers are key to getting our project started productively and keeping the flow of construction moving with ongoing coordination throughout.

SPECIAL PROJECTS

The Special Projects Department can manage all mechanical system modifications working in conjunction with our highly experienced Piping, Controls, and Sheet Metal Departments to provide equipment replacement, central plant retrofits, zone additions, system corrections, energy enhancements, process piping systems, as well as digital control and energy management systems. We are set up to provide turnkey services as the prime contractor, managing the entire project from conceptual design to commissioning.

Couts Heating & Cooling, Inc. has some of the best Sheet Metal Foreman in the industry with most being developed within from Apprenticeship and are led by a strong Superintendent that is well established throughout the industry. Our crews are experienced in OSHPD, DSA, County and City Codes and Practices. Some of our projects include Hospitals, Colleges, High Schools, K-8, Performing Arts, Arenas, Resorts, Public Works, County/City Facilities, etc.

Our field personnel are trained in the newest technology, including Navisworks and Bluebeam for onsite collaboration with other trades. Couts has trained techs operating Trimble Equipment for digital layouts coordinated through our in-house detailing department using BIM.

We also have a TABB Certified Tech and Certified Structural Welders to handle any project requirements. All Couts employees receive safety training for certifications of OSHA 30, Fall Protection, Rigging, Forklift, Ariel Lift, etc.

Our team is dedicated to make sure not only Couts is successful, but all Contractors we work with are successful. Couts believes it takes a total team effort among all trades to truly make a successful project.

Couts Heating and Cooling’s 41 years of experience with HVAC service customers ranging from Hospitals, Medical Centers, Schools from head starts through college, Office Buildings, Distribution Centers and conditioned warehouses, Couts has the experience to provide a wide variety of service needed for a multitude of equipment manufacturers. Our Union trained Technicians continue their education with manufacturer and specialty product training, and we strive to exceed our customers’ expectations.

Our commitment to quality, satisfaction and great customer service is synonymous with our name. Our highly trained, fully licensed commercial HVAC repair technicians are standing by to repair practically any make or model of commercial HVAC equipment, as one of the most trusted and reliable service providers, we stand by our work where others often leave it behind.

When service is required, you can trust Couts to respond quickly, with a goal to resolve your service problems and get your system running on the first trip, including 24-hour emergency service when it is most crucial. Our technicians are wirelessly dispatched and our service team will communicate the estimated time of service with you. Special Projects Department Couts Heating and Cooling understands that existing facilities require specialized mechanical retrofit services. Our Special Projects Department was developed to fill this niche allowing us to more completely serve our wide base of customers. We provide full mechanical design and construction services for retrofit projects, whether small or large.

Over the years, Couts Heating & Cooling, Inc. has developed a highly respected and innovative Piping Department. Technology is ever changing and as systems become more complex, we recognize the importance of staying ahead of the curve. Couts maintains a tight connection between office and field to provide quality systems to our Clients that fit within their needs and budgets. Our Piping Department specializes in Central Plants, VRF Refrigeration Systems, Steam Piping, Concrete Thermal Cooling, and Composting Facility Piping to highlight a few.

Couts’ Piping Department prides itself on having skilled top notch employees putting safety and training first. Many of our Superintendents, General Foreman and our Foreman have been developed from within since Apprenticeship which gives us some of the strongest crews in the business. We provide our crews with the equipment required to work effectively and efficiently making us a one-stop shop from pre-insulated underground piping to high bay distribution.
