Patrick Lloyd has over 24 years of experience in the Mechanical and HVAC industry and holds the position of Sheet Metal Superintendent at Couts, managing all Sheetmetal labor as well as project constructability reviews, scheduling, and field support. Over the course of his career, he has won numerous awards during his apprenticeship including representing SMWIA region 10 in the National Sheet Metal Apprenticeship contest. After graduation, while working as a foreman, he also became an instructor at night for the SMWIA local 102 JATC, teaching classes in construction math and detailing to apprentices. He has extensive field experience in HCAI (OSHPD), DSA and complex HVAC projects. His projects have primarily focused on healthcare, tech, and science from ground up to critical HVAC upgrade and replacements in operational healthcare facilities. This work experience has provided successful quality project results with a focus on patient, owner, staff, and contractors’ needs in all stages of planning and execution. His current position and expertise allow him to be a key player in all Couts’ projects.
