Our story

The people are as important as the product.

Couts Heating & Cooling, Inc. was established in 1978 by John Couts. John and his father, John Sr., worked tirelessly to establish Couts as a reputable HVAC company throughout Southern California, succeeding by becoming a strong player within the Education sector, providing quality work and service to several Districts in the Inland Empire.

As Couts continued to grow and expand in the industry, John developed a family atmosphere with key employees all investing in the same mission. Without the dedication and commitment of those key employees, Couts would not be where it is today.

Several of those key employees are still with Couts Heating & Cooling, Inc., and that family feel carries on to this day in the company's continued growth. The quality relationships developed between employees do not stop at the end of the day, extending beyond work to their families and personal lives. The people are as important as the product, and Couts strives for that same sense of commitment and caring with our Partners and Clients.

In 2018, Couts Heating & Cooling, Inc. became an ESOP, which symbolizes the strength and dedication of the employees to each other and to its mission. As Couts continues to grow within, we look forward to adding valued customers into our family.
